FMST-FXV-11E and FMST-FXV-44E series of aspirating smoke detectors provide very early warning for a wide range of applications including large open spaces, warehouse, IDC etc. This product can support up to 320m and 640m pipe. Patented 3- phase focusing linear laser technology provides a reliable, economic and efficient fire detection solution.
How it works
Air is continually aspirated from protected area through air sampling pipe and is sent into the detector. The sampled air is delivered to a laser detection chamber where smoke particles are detected via light obscuration technology. If smoke is detected, the alarm level will be determined by the level of smoke density and fire alarm thresholds and fire alarm signals will be sent out via relays or device communication interface. All the firm alarm information including smoke concentration, alarm time and which sampling pipe or zone the alarm comes from will be displayed on a built-in LCD.
Each detector supports one alarm zone and contains two independent pipe inlets, two independent airflow sensors, one independent aspirating fan and one laser chamber.
The aspirating fan adopts patented technology to increase aspiration power and decrease noise to minimal level.
FMSTnet
FMST-FXV-11E and FMST-FXV-44E can be connected to FMSTnet where one loop can support up to 252 devices, FMSTnet can support multiple device loops which adopt various communication protocol. FMST-FXV-11E and FMST-FXV-44E has both Rs485 and Ethernet interface and can be configured by FMST-FSC or remotely monitored/controlled by FMST- FSM.FMST-FXV-11E and FMST-FXV-44E supports both Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP/IP protocol.
Modbus communication protocol is open to end-users so that the device can be connected to 3 rd party control system.
